United Toon-up plans take shape

Managerless Newcastle have announced three pre-season friendlies as they prepare for life in the Coca-Cola Championship.[LNB]The Magpies will face League Two Darlington at the Northern Echo Darlington Arena on Saturday, July 18 (kick-off 12.30pm), and then meet League One Huddersfield, now being managed by their former midfielder Lee Clark, at the Galpharm Stadium on Tuesday, July 21 (kick-off 7.45pm).[LNB]St James' Park will host only one pre-season game when Leeds, who also play in League One, make the trip to the north-east on Wednesday, July 29 (kick-off 7.45pm).[LNB]The Magpies expect to announce further fixtures soon.
