Unhappy Ba Proves His Point To Pardew

18 September 2012 11:37
Demba Ba, who admitted he was "not happy" to be left on the bench, was introduced at the interval and the whole game against Everton changed.

He grabbed a first, then a predatory second in the last minute to prove his point to manager Alan Pardew, who admitted: "Sometimes players play better when they're angry."

That's one way of putting it - or perhaps the manager is covering his own arse because he got it sadly wrong!

Alan Pardew: "I can't keep everyone happy in this squad, there are still one or two who aren't happy."
