Toon Youngster Gets Trial In Sweden
Patrick McLaughlin is set for a trial with Swedish side GAIS. McLaughlin will play in a friendly with second-division side Jonkoping Sodra. McLaughlin, 20, has represented Northern Ireland's Under 17s, Under 16s and Under 15s. He signed for Newcastle in 2007 and has been playing for the Magpies' reserves but is yet to make a first-team appearance. .
