Toon Young Striker Wants Euro Glory

Adam Campbell, United's new No 9 prospect, is desperate for another taste of the Europa League.

The teenager became the youngest player to represent the club in European competition earlier in the season, and the 17-year-old is hopeful of being involved against Club Brugge.

Adam Campbell: “You’ve got to show what you can do.

“Thankfully, I’m having quite good games when they are watching.

“I like to think I’m training quite well when I’m with the first team.

“That’s the next step - I’ve got from the Under-18s to the reserves, and now I want to push on to the first team as much as I can.

"I'd love to be involved against Brugge.

“Let’s hope so - I don’t care whether it’s Europa League, Carling Cup or FA Cup.

“Anything close to the first team is a bonus for me.

“Luckily, because we’ve got so many games coming up, it’s probably my best chance of getting into the squad.”
