Toon Snub £4m Offer For Enrique From Liverpool
Daily Mirror is reporting today that Newcastle have rejected Liverpool's first official approach for Jose Enrique. Alan Pardew has been trying for months to pin Enrique down to a longer contract, but Enrique's refusal to do so, means the player's days as a Newcastle player are numbered. The defender still has 12 months of his contract to run. Newcastle are said to be holding out for at least 10 million pounds.
