Toon Shy Off Bendtner Because Of Wage Demands
Contrary to reports, United are not looking to sign Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner ... because of his £80,000 per-week wages. Bendtner isn’t being considered, while Manchester City’s Craig Bellamy and free agent Jay Bothroyd are not understood to be targets. Pardew was today tight-lipped on the identity of the club’s targets, but he did say: “We’re still looking hard for a striker, and we have got our eyes on every striker who is available at the moment. “But they have to be the right fit for this club. There is a certain genre they have to fit into.”
