Newcastle’s reserves missed out on a place in the Premier Reserve League’s end-of-season play-offs after losing to Everton on penalties at Goodison Park last night.
The two sides drew 3-3 after extra time, with Sammy Ameobi, Brad Inman and Michael Richardson on target for United.
