Toon Ready To Listen To Offers For Guthrie
Nottingham Forest are leading the chase to sign Danny Guthrie, and it looks likely the former Liverpool midfielder will move on in the summer. Guthrie is set to come in from the cold against Wolves in the absence of Cheik Tiote, but he knows he will be the subject of transfer speculation when the transfer window opens. He hasn’t started a game since last month’s defeat at Fulham, but the influential Tiote is suspended for the St James’s Park fixture, and the visit to Aston Villa on April 10, after picking up his 10th booking of the season in last weekend’s 4-0 defeat at Stoke City.
