Youngster Adam Campbell claimed he was spat at by an Empoli player as Newcastle United bowed out of the Viareggio Cup in Italy.
Newcastle won 3-2 on Saturday with goals from Brandon Miele, Jonathyn Quinn and Macauley Booth ... but the Magpies lost out by goal difference.
Campbell claimed (on Twitter) he had been spat at.
Adam Campbell: “Can’t believe someone from Empoli U20s actually spat in my face after the game today, never been so angry in my life”.
