Toon Midfielder Told January Move Is Not Going To Happen

Ryan Donaldson has been told he will get a chance to go out on loan next season. Sheffield United and Carlisle could offer the 19-year-old action next term, as both clubs have been represented at Newcastle Reserve games. Donaldson has been restricted to one start for the first team at Accrington Stanley in the Carling Cup. Chris Hughton: "Ryan just needs to keep his head down, and keep playing. "I've always said if there was an opportunity to go out on loan, then I would give him it. "Hopefully, something like that might happen in the future. "But in the meantime, he just needs to keep his head down, and keep working as hard as he can."
