Nigel Clough: "We are looking at the loan market and we asked about James, but he is providing defensive cover at Newcastle.
"They have got a couple of injuries, so he cannot come out at the moment.
"Yes, if we can get a right-back in of a certain quality, we will. But he will have to be better than Russell (Anderson), who battled away against Southampton."
