'Toon Fill The Gaps' - Says Danny Simpson

Danny Simpson says Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor filled the gaps left by the loss of Fabricio Coloccini and Mike Williamson against Chelsea, and he backs them to keep it clean at The Hawthorns. Danny Simpson: "I thought they were both magnificent. "Everybody knows what type of experience that Sol has. "He has that presence, and he's always there. He's a big lad, and he talks to everybody, passing on his advice. "He was playing 20 years ago, so you know you have to listen to him. He's been there and done it. "He's just so experienced, and he'll help you make the right decisions. "It's just an honour to be alongside him on the pitch and in training. You can only learn from him. "On the pitch, he's always communicating and making sure things are running smoothly. "Steven Taylor was fantastic. "He got a bit of cramp, but he has been out a long time. "I know what he's going through, but I thought me and him did OK on the right side of the defence. "I think we've had a few clean sheets this season, but I know we could have had a few more. It's not that we've leaked a lot of goals. "It's just odd ones where it's been a mistake or a lack of concentration. If we can put those little things right, then we will keep a lot more clean sheets. Sol can help us do that. "West Brom play football, and anyone who watched the highlights last week against Everton will know what they can do. "I know a couple of the players there, and they've been doing well. We know we have to raise our game if we want to get some points."
