Well I questioned that, if I'm honest.
90% of Newcastle fans haven't seen us win ANYTHING, and it is my lifetime's ambition to be there when Newcastle lift a trophy.
I was at St James' Park when we beat Ujpest Doza 3-0, but they didn't pick up the Fairs Cup that evening ... that was in Budapest.
And I've seen three relegations. So I'd go for a trophy ahead of a good fixture list.
(* One fan suggested "why can't we win the trophy AND stay up?" ... yes I'm sure we would all like that; but that wasn't the point Jonas Gutierrez was making.)
