Newcastle United's Under-18s will be without 17-year-old striker Adam Campbell tonight when they kick-off their FA Youth Cup campaign against Arsenal.

Campbell, who is out until the New Year with a knee problem, is the pick of the bunch as regards first team experience.

Dave Watson’s side face the Gunners at Barnet’s Underhill Stadium (7pm kick-off).

Midfielder Steven Logan: “Anything can happen – we’ve just got to go out there and battle. A lot of people are buzzing to be going down to play against Arsenal.”

Newcastle – who last won the competition in 1985 – reached the quarter-finals last season, where they were beaten by Blackburn Rovers on penalties at St James’s Park.
