Toon Defender Goes Out On Loan
Northampton have signed Newcastle defender Ben Tozer on loan until October 16. Ian Sampson (Northampton boss) "He is a player with an excellent pedigree and someone who will do us a good turn over the next few weeks. "He was really keen to come and already his attitude to get stuck in and do well for this club has impressed me. I tried to bring him in last season but it didn't quite work out then and I am pleased it has now. "Ben is a highly-rated young player who will improve us over the next few weeks and he will hopefully gain some experience that he will find useful."
