Toon Defender Back In Training
Newcastle Utd full-back Ryan Taylor is back in light training after suffering an ankle ligament injury in November. He misses the trip to Portugal for a special "Boot Camp" training session that Alan Pardew has organised. Taylor faces a lengthy period of rehabilitation and could miss the rest of the season. It was suggested Pardew was going to send him out on loan during this transfer window, before his injury. Central defender Steven Taylor is expected to miss the Fulham game with a hamstring .
