Toon consider Zurab appeal
Newcastle are considering an appeal against the red card Zurab Khizanishvili picked up against Doncaster.[LNB] The Georgia defender was dismissed by referee Darren Deadman five minutes from the end of Saturday's 2-1 win after a confrontation with Rovers striker Billy Sharp.[LNB] "It's one that we'll look at and scrutinise," said caretaker boss Chris Hughton. "My first reaction was that I couldn't believe it."[LNB] He added: "It seemed to be a skirmish that will happen in every game at some stage where you won't see a red card. [LNB] "I wouldn't rule out an appeal. The correct procedure is to have a good look at it and make sure we have got all our facts right."
