Tiger Tim's 'Mate' Gets Top Award

23 April 2012 11:34
We all remember the spat between our very own Tim Krul and his Dutch team-mate Robin van Persie in North London last month.

Have they picked up a phone and ended their dispute?

Let's hope so.

With Euro 2012 just weeks away, I'm sure the Dutch boss will want closure on the affair.

Well Tim can always send his ex-mate a congratulations card.

Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has been named the PFA Players' Player of the Year, with Kyle Walker picking up the Young Player accolade.

Both players were also selected in the Premier League's Team of the Year. Van Persie was the only Arsenal player present whereas Walker was one of three Spurs men, with Scott Parker and Gareth Bale also included.

The PFA Merit award was presented to Preston defender Graham Alexander in recognition of his services to the game, dating back to his debut as a Scunthorpe player in 1991.
