Taylor Witch-Hunt A Joke!

25 November 2013 14:51
Steven Taylor will NOT be charged or fined by the Football Association after posting a picture on Twitter apparently mocking his team-mates.

And as nobody had a problem with the "banter" between mates, how could they do anything other than 'pass' on the matter.

On November 15 he responded to a message from team mate Massadio Haïdara, who had teased Taylor about his attempts to learn French, with the message: “It’s always good to see you guys smiling” and attached a picture showing  several black people and copied in Moussa Sissoko, Papiss Cissé and Vurnon Anita.

The Tweet went viral and provoked some angry responses from people who should perhaps know better, and Taylor was told to apologise for posting the picture and deleted the Tweet.

Taylor confirmed to The FA that the four pictures he posted on his Twitter account were sent to him by Massadio Haidara.

One picture was of Haidara himself, and he explained that the message was just “banter”.

Taylor confirmed to the FA that he posted these pictures on his Twitter account as a response to those teammates laughing at his efforts to learn French.

This followed a picture posted earlier by Haidara, apparently of Taylor learning French.

The FA will take no further disciplinary action against Taylor and issued him a reminder in in respect of the public nature of social networking websites, and the risk of postings being taken out of context.

AT LAST THE FA DO SOMETHING COMMENDABLE!

WHO ACTUALLY COMPLAINED IN THE FIRST PLACE?
