Taylor Will Get His Chance In Premiership

Is Ryan Taylor good enough for the Premiership? Newcastle boss Chris Hughton says he will get his chance to prove the doubters wrong. Despite rumours of two Championship clubs ready to test the water with offers for Taylor, Hughton says the former Wigan defender/winger will get his “fair share” of first-team opportunities next season. He dropped down to the Championship when Joe Kinnear signed the former Tranmere Rovers man in a swap deal for Charles N’Zogbia last year. Hughton: “Ryan will get his fair share of chances. He missed out a bit in the second half of the season when Wayne Routledge came in. “And he didn’t get the amount of games he probably wanted to get. “When a team is winning it’s hard to make changes every time you pick the side. “He’s a good player and has plenty of Premier League experience to boot. “When he looks back on last season he played his part and in a big amount of the games. “It’s not just about the starting XI, it’s a squad game and everybody knows they can’t play every game.”
