Taylor On Transfer List - No Surprise There Then!
Well ... as we suggested this morning in our "Kiss And Made Up" article ... Steven Taylor is set to leave St James' ... IF we can get a buyer. Taylor and Newcastle are miles apart on a new contract deal, and the former England under-21 skipper could be leaving the club before the end of the transfer window. The 24-year-old has been transfer-listed because Newcastle obviously don't rate the defender as much as he rates himself. Taylor's current contract is due to expire at the end of the season and he would be able to leave the club on a free transfer then. A spokesman for Newcastle Utd FC said: "We can confirm that Steven Taylor is on the transfer list."
