Taylor issues Toon rallying call as Newcastle aim to dodge relegation

Newcastle go into Saturday's game against Arsenal with defender Steven Taylor warning his team they must start taking risks if they are to avoid relegation. Last weekend's 1-1 draw at Hull has left Newcastle 16th in the table and out of the bottom three only by virtue of goal difference. Although Newcastle follow the Arsenal clash with a game against title-chasing Chelsea, Taylor insists his team must be brave. Only way is up: Steven Taylor wants Newcastle to drag themselves out of their current crisis 'With nine games to go you've got to take the game to the opposition,' he said. 'Sometimes you have got to take risks, it's a difficult situation we're in. 'The whole season has been a rollercoaster ride but we always seem to come away, sit back and wait for something to happen. 'Once Hull scored the goal, that's what happened it shouldn't happen like that and it's up to us to change it. I'm sick of "if only this, if only that", we've got to start producing.'
