Taylor eyes deja vu
Defender Ryan Taylor is hoping for a repeat of last season's victory at The Hawthorns when Newcastle travel to West Brom on Saturday.
The relegated Magpies did the double over the Baggies in the Premier League and Taylor sees no reason why they can't copy that success.
Taylor, who made his Newcastle debut in the match at The Hawthorns, told the club's official website: "Obviously that was a great start for me and at the time it was a massive result.
"We all know what happened after that, however, and it was devastating not to stay in the Premier League. But that has gone, we can only affect what is in front of us and that is a season in the Championship where we have the chance to get back in the top division.
"That starts with West Brom on Saturday. It'll be tough because they're a good side with a lot of players who have been in this division.
"But we beat them at their place in February with a lot of the lads who will be playing this weekend and we'd love a repeat."
