Sol Campbell will not be offered a new contract at Newcastle during the summer. Campbell joined the Magpies at the beginning of the season as a free agent, but hings have not quite gone to plan. He arrived looking fat and out of condition, and he admitted he hadn't trained during the summer. The 36-year-old made just eight appearances for the Tynesiders, starting just four games. Campbell's last outing for Newcastle came back in March when he was part of the side that went down 4-0 at Stoke City and Pardew will not take up the one-year option that was inserted into the defender's contract last summer.
