Struggling Toon tie down Ranger

Premier League strugglers Newcastle have handed a new three-and-a-half-year deal to young striking prospect Nile Ranger.The 18-year-old only signed for the Magpies last summer after they snapped him up from Southampton.He has been scoring on a regular basis for the club's youth and reserve sides and has also been included in the first-team squad.The club have now tied him down to a new three-and-half-year deal."This past year has been a dream for me and it couldn't have gone any better," he told the club's official website."I'm buzzing to sign a new contract and commit my future to the club because this is where I want to play my football."[LNB]
