Darlington have signed Scottish midfielder Ross Chisholm.[LNB] The ex-Hibernian and Shamrock Rovers midfielder, 22, has joined until the end of the season.[LNB] He can't play in tonight's game with Port Vale, as the deal wasn't completed in time, but when he makes his bow, he will become the 50th player used by the club this season.[LNB] Chisholm made 47 appearances for Hibs and was released last summer, when he joined Shamrock until the end of last year, playing 12 games in the League of Ireland.[LNB] Boss Steve Staunton said: Ross has been training with us for a few weeks and he's a clever little ball player. He has a sweet left foot and can pick a pass with a killer ball, which is vital in League Two where it's difficult to break down defences.[LNB] "He'll be a useful addition to the squad between now and the end of the season.[LNB]
