Sol Campbell: 'I'm Ready To Step In'!
Sol Campbell is in optimistic mood ahead of his side's Carling Cup clash with Chelsea on Wednesday. Sol Campbell: "Nothing is easy in life, so we have to roll our sleeves up and get on with it. "I've got great memories of this competition and won it way back. It's always nice to win the competition and have a great cup run. "But Chris (Hughton) has to look at the whole season. He's got one eye on the full season - that's a priority for him. "I can't pick and choose when the games come. The main thing is being out there and smelling the environment of a football arena again. "But I'm ready. That's why I played in the reserves against Chelsea last week - I didn't want to be too short. "I was behind the lads in pre-season, but I've caught up with them. "I've been putting in the minutes and hours behind the scenes just to catch up."
