Sochaux Holding Out For Higher Toon Bid
Alan Pardew still wants Sochaux striker Modibo Maiga, although the French club insist he is not for sale. With the transfer window soon to close, the French club is playing a cat and mouse game with the Magpies ... that could go to the wire. Pardew says Maiga is "the type of player we are looking at", but Mike Ashley continues to count the pennies.
