Shola Says First Half Tactics Were A Mess!
Toon fans have questioned Chris Hughton's tactics all season, and Shola Ameobi says Wigan were "tactically and technically better than us in the first half". Shola Ameobi: "It was quite a tense affair at half-time in the dressing room. "Obviously with the way they were playing and we weren't doing what we had set out to do, we felt that they were tactically and technically better than us in the first half and we had to improve. "Thankfully we've done that the second half, the game's about all 18 players, not just 11 on the field at the time and a couple of players have come on today and made a difference and we've managed to get that draw. "We've shown a grit and determination there - it would have been all too easy for us to just pack it in, but we didn't. "We've got this fight in us at the moment, we make it hard for ourselves at times but its important that we keep on going to the very end and you saw what happened today." .
