Shola Ameobi signs Newcastle deal until 2014

Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi has signed a new two-year extension to tie him to the club until 2014. [LNB]Manager Alan Pardew has been keen to secure Ameobi, who made his Magpies debut in 2000, on a longer contract for some time.
