Newcastle United manager Alan Shearer has admitted 'time is running out' to save the club from relegation.[LNB] The Magpies were held to a 0-0 Premier League draw against Portsmouth at St James' Park to leave the North East side three points adrift of safety, with four games of the season left to play.[LNB]Shearer had dubbed the meeting with Pompey as the biggest of his short managerial career and the former Magpies striker is under no illusions as to the task that lies ahead of him.[LNB]He said: "We need to get a win. Time is running out, we know it."[LNB]Newcastle's next top-flight fixture sees them take on second-placed Liverpool at Anfield and Shearer is hopeful of a shock result that will act as a fillip for the club.[LNB]He added: "We might get something at Anfield and then we have two home games we need to take six points from.[LNB]"I think it will go to the final game of the season.[LNB]"But we need a win to kick-start a bit of momentum."[LNB]
