Shakespeare - Normal service for Pearson

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson will not change his approach against his former club Newcastle, according to his assistant Craig Shakespeare. The Foxes are unbeaten on their return to the Championship and face their toughest test of the season to date at St James` Park on Monday night. Pearson joined Newcastle as assistant manager in October 2006 and, when Glenn Roeder resigned as boss the following May, he was placed in temporary charge of the first-team. Pearson remained as coach when Sam Allardyce took over and was again asked to step into the breach when the former Bolton boss was sacked. He left the north east club shortly after Kevin Keegan was given the reins for a second time in January last year. On Pearson`s return, Shakespeare said: "He will treat it the same as any other game, knowing him. He will concentrate on us and it will be three points that will concern him and I don't think there will be any hidden agendas. "We have been back to other clubs before and I have seen him - he is very focused on the job in hand regardless of the team we face. The preparation will be as it is for all games."
