Ryan Taylor out for 12 weeks
RYAN Taylor will be out for 12 weeks after undergoing surgery on an ankle injury.[LNB] The versatile player underwent surgery on Monday after suffering ligament damage in training.[LNB] The former Wigan man has made just one league appearance this season, coming on as a second half substitute in the 6-0 win over Aston Villa, but has started all three of Newcastle's Carling Cup games, scoring in the wins over Acrington Stanley and Chelsea.[LNB] Manager Chris Hughton said: "It's very disappointing to lose Ryan for this period of time.[LNB] "Although he hasn't played as much football as he would have liked, he has been a very important and valuable member of our squad this season."[LNB] [LNB]
