Mike Ashley was once barred from hospitality boxes up and down the country for wearing his Alan Smith Toon shirt.

Well it's nice to know Smith is doing so well at MK Dons, where is "storming the popularity charts at MK Dons having sold more player postcards and personalised shirts than anyone else at the Club".

The former Manchester United and Newcastle striker-come-midfielder has proved a popular character in the Dons’ team with almost 150 Alan Smith postcards sold and 72 shirts with ‘Smith 11’ printed on the back.
