Reds Only Half A Team Without 'Red Rum'

Luis Suarez is out of the Liverpool's starting XI at St James's Park on Saturday

And Massadio Haidara says his absence will be keenly felt by Brendan Rodgers’s side given his influence on the pitch this season.

Massadio Haidara: “Suarez (pictured right) is definitely the difference for Liverpool.

“I think, without him, they will be a different team.

“He’s obviously the focal point for their attack. They do have other quality players as well, but if he isn’t playing, that will definitely be a positive thing for us.

“The Premiership is a completely different style of game.

“In France, it’s a lot more tactical and defensively-focused.

“Here in the Premier League, it’s a lot more attacking. It’s a box-to-box style of play.

“The focus is really on moving forward. Playing game after game, I’m getting a lot more used to that.”
