Ranger stakes recall claim
NEWCASTLE striker Nile Ranger pressed his claims for a first team start at Sheffield United on Monday by scoring in a 3-2 defeat to Celtic in a behind-closeddoors friendly yesterday.[LNB] Ryan Donaldson opened the scoring for the Magpies, but Celtic responded by scoring two goals in 15 minutes to turn the game on its head through Paul McGowan and Ryan Conroy.[LNB] Ranger brought things level with a calm finish after rounding keeper Daniele Giordano.
