QPR preparing January transfer window bid for Newcastle United striker Demba Ba
Arsenal are favourites to buy the 27-year-old Senegal player, who has a £7
million release clause, with Chelsea having expressed an interest if they
fail to land their main targets of either Radamel Falcao or Gonzalo Higuaín.
It is well known that Ba would not pass a medical, however, as he suffers from
a chronic knee problem and is also demanding wages of around £70,000 a week,
which is more than Arsenal want to pay.
The player’s agents are also asking for fees of up to £2 million.
Redknapp is desperate to add at least one proven striker to his squad.
