Premiership Rules Nothing More Than A Joke!

Can anyone tell me what benefit anyone will get out of this new ruling from the Premiership that clubs have to name a 25-man squad for this season? What the hell is that all about? There was talk veteran defender Sol Campbell and Steven Taylor may not be included in Newcastle United's squad for this season ... but why should there even be a doubt? They are Newcastle Utd players, on amazing wages, so why should Chris Hughton be put under pressure having to cut back on his squad numbers? WHAT POSSIBLE BENEFIT CAN THIS BE TO PLAYER OR MANAGER? Both Campbell and Taylor made Chris Hughton's cut on Wednesday as the manager named his line-up in accordance with new regulations that Premier League clubs must submit a squad of no more than 25 players. Also included in the party was new loan signing Hatem Ben Arfa, who linked up with the Magpies last Friday. Hughton can also call on unlimited players aged under 21, with star striker Andy Carroll one of his options in that category. Newcastle squad: Sol Campbell, Steven Taylor, Shola Ameobi, Joey Barton, Danny Guthrie, Peter Lovenkrands, Jose Enrique, Alan Smith, Leon Best, Fabricio Coloccini, Jonas Gutierrez, Steve Harper, Kevin Nolan, Wayne Routledge, Danny Simpson, Ryan Taylor, Mike Williamson, Xisco, Fraser Forster, Tim Krul, James Perch, Cheik Tiote, Hatem Ben Arfa.
