Pools close in on Donaldson
Hartlepool are set to clinch the signing of Newcastle striker Ryan Donaldson on loan.
The 19-year-old, who has represented England at Under-17 and Under-19 level, will put pen to paper on an initial one-month deal subject to FA clearance.
The highly-rated youngster has made two starts and four substitute appearances for the Magpies, but is yet to score his first goal.
