Police Can Handle Match At St James' But Not At SOL!

Northumberland police, who have struggled for SIX DAYS to catch a gunman who is on foot in a wood, have switched the Wear-Tyne derby. The derby match has been switched to a Sunday lunchtime, on police advice ... because the buggers cannot cope! Sunderland and Newcastle United will now meet at the Stadium of Light on Sunday, January 16, with a noon kick-off. The game originally scheduled to take place a 3pm the previous day, but has been moved after consultation with Northumbria Police. Apparently they can manage to police the match at St James' Park (on Sunday October 31) with a 4pm kick-off (because it is on Sky TV) ... but not at Stadium Of Shite. Northumberland police are currently the laughing stock of the country, as they have told the media THREE times they were on the verge of sticking the handcuffs on the Geordie gunman ... then offered £10,000 for anyone who can tell them where he is! They were told where his car was - Northumberland police said it was abandoned - yet he was 200 yds away sleeping in a tent!
