Peter Broadbent RIP

Former England and Wolves forward Peter Broadbent has died at the age of 80.

Broadbent, who played as an inside forward, was part of England's 1958 World Cup squad and scored two goals in seven appearances for the national side.

He won the league three times with Wolves, in 1954, 1958 and 1959, and the FA Cup in 1960.

After leaving Wolves in 1965, he joined Shrewsbury and also played for Aston Villa, Stockport County and Bromsgrove Rovers.
