Perch Out - Simpson In? Fingers Crossed!
Danny Simpson will hope to make his first senior appearance of the season after getting a third reserve team game under his belt this week following his recovery from an ankle injury. Simpson could be drafted in at right-back with summer signing James Perch looking out of his depth in the Premier League. The former Nottingham Forest defender has had a season to forget, although Chris Hughton said this week "he has been very consistent" ... and we cannot disagree ... he has been consistent alright - although none of it good. Last Saturday he was taken to the cleaners by Wigan's flying Frenchman Charles N'Zogbia and if a sniper had shot him, at least he would have been put out of his misery! Let's face it - he was dross!
