Seeded United could also play FC Vaslui (Romania), Atromitos FC (Greece), Tromso IL (Norway) or Neftci PFK (Azerbaijan).
The two-legged tie will be played on August 22 or 23 and 29 or 30.
Newcastle’s reward for winning the tie would be a place in the Europa League’s group stage.
The draw takes place at 12.30pm.
