Alan Pardew wants his revamped Newcastle to stamp their authority on games at St James' Park next season. Alan Pardew: ”I hope it’ll be a more exciting Newcastle next season. ”I just want to have more control over games, especially at St James’ Park. “There were times when I didn’t feel like we controlled proceedings, to a degree. ”I think Cabaye in particular will add to our quality on the ball and add some intelligence to what we’re trying to do. “Especially when we’re trying to build an attack. ”We were hanging on in some games, looking to nick one. ”I think we’ve now got more creative players so I’m hoping that is not the case next season.”     Meanwhile, Pardew has revealed that United’s second string may quit the Premier League reserve league at the end of the season. The Newcastle boss was considering taking the development squad out of the league and playing friendly games instead. “We’re looking at that closely, that league,” he said. ”We want to make sure we get the best out of it. “If not, we’ll have to change it.”
