Pardew Wants Smith To Sit Out WBA Clash
Alan Smith is on emergency duty on Sunday ... but he would rather not play the former Man Utd midfielder. Alan Pardew: “I don’t really want to use Alan. “Alan’s just there as an emergency, if I’m honest, because of his ankle. “He had a bad injury. We want to finish the season well, but we don’t want to put players at risk. Alan will probably be on the bench, but hopefully not used.”
