Pardew U-Turn After Transfer Failure
When Alan Pardew said last week: "Ryan Taylor played well against Arsenal but I hope he ISN'T playing against Sunderland" ... and many Toon fans felt it was an 'unfortunate' term of phrase. OK, I'msure he hoped to have signed a full-back in time for the Mackem game ... but he could have choosen his words better. How do you think Taylor felt after that? No new signings and now Pardew has indicated Ryan Taylor is in the box-seat to start the Wear-Tyne derby. Alan Pardew: "Ryan could start. "We have to be diligent when it comes to bringing a left-back in. "Clubs know we are in for a left-back."
