Pardew Trying To Offload Marveaux

Toon midfielder Sylvain Marveaux will be the first to admit he is struggling with the pace of the Premiership, and his days in English football seem numbered.

According to French source Le10Sport, Newcastle United are looking to make a move for Marseille forward Loic Remy in the January transfer window ... with Sylvain Marveaux as a part of the deal.

But the striker is living on his reputation rather than achievements this season.

Remy (who is also a target for Chelsea and Liverpool) has yet to score a goal this season in the league, and hasn’t been a regular in the Stade Velodrome side under new boss Elie Baup.
