Blackburn Rovers central defender Christopher Samba in the January transfer window, but the £10m asking price was well over the odds.
The player made a transfer request at the time, hoping the club would drop the price, but it didn't happen.
Now we hear today that Samba is poised to complete a move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
