Perhaps Mike Ashley should explain the job descriptions at St James' Park because ... whatever Joe the Dinosaur says ... Pardew says the opposite!
Pardew has today broken his silence on Joe Kinnear’s abortive attempt to bring Mick Harford to the club.
Harford claimed earlier this week that he had turned down a job “assisting” Kinnear at St James’s Park as his "number two".
He instead chose to stay at Millwall, where he is assistant manager.
But Pardew said: “He was coming in as part of the scouting team – that’s all he was coming in for.
“I don’t where any other titles have come from that people came up with. That’s all he was offered.”
A lot is going on behind Pardew's back these days.
