Pardew Says Smith Still Has A Future At The Club
Despite trying to offload Alan Smith to Leeds Utd last month ... Alan Pardew will consider him for the match against Arsenal on Saturday. Smith – who also missed the Fiorentina game – is also available for selection. Pardew went on: “Smudger had a little strain (on Friday), and rather than sit him on the bench, I wanted to see a few of the younger ones. He’ll be fit.”
